What it costs to get there

Private / management seat

about ₹17.73L a year
Tuition for the full 5.5 years. Government-college MBBS is about ₹64,000 a year. A private-college government-quota seat runs far higher, and a deemed-university seat is the most expensive course in India.
Fees change every year and differ by college — confirm with the college before paying. Scholarships can cover much of this.
Who can apply
Passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, and qualified NEET UG. Minimum 50% in PCB for the general category (40% for SC/ST/OBC).
How to apply
NEET UG via neet.nta.nic.in is the single gateway. Counselling then runs through MCC for the all-India quota and KEA for Karnataka state seats. For PG (MD/MS) the current gate is NEET PG; the National Exit Test (NExT) is legislated to replace it but the NMC has deferred it, so NEET PG remains in force.
